Fralin Park Neighborhood Organization is in Southwest Roanoke, near Fishburn Park, Colonial Ave., SW, one of Roanoke's busiest streets, and Virginia Western Community College. The neighborhood includes Pasley Ave., Bannister Ave., and Heywood Ave., SW. Lots tend to be large in this stable, well-established neighborhood sub-division, many around 10, 000 square feet. The neighborhood is situated on an undulating terrain surrounded by healthy forest with a mature tree canopy. Despite the close proximity to Colonial Avenue, the neighborhood tends to be quiet and is even unknown to newer residents of the City. Fralin Park offers easy access to Towers Shopping Center, Townside Festival, all that downtown provides, and is just a few minutes from I-581.
