Washington Park is defined as the area bounded on the north by I-581, on the south by Orange Avenue, on the east by I-581, and on the west by 10th Street. The area offers a traditional neighborhood setting in addition to several multi family developments. Much of Washington Park was developed between 1920 and 1960. It also has a considerable amount of new development, including the revitalized Villages at Lincoln (formerly Lincoln Terrace). The neighborhood takes its name from the park that lies at the corner of Orange Avenue and Burrell Street.
