The Peters Creek Civic League involves an area, Peachtree/Norwood, that was primarily developed in the 1950s and 60s with suburban style ranch houses. It is characterized by curved surburban streetscapes and many cul de sacs. Neighborhood boundaries are Melrose Ave. NW, Peters Creek Road NW, Cove Road NW and Green Ridge Road NW. The neighborhood is made up of primarily single family houses with commercial development along the Peters Creek Road and Melrose Ave NW boundaries. Peachtree/Norwood has a generous amount of vacant land that has the potential for future development.
