How to Begin Your Consumer Health Search
Step 1
Having the correct word for the condition you wish to search is key. Make sure that you have spelled the word correctly. You can select the Medical Dictionary to look up your term.
Step 2
Make sure you have gone to the subject heading that best fits your term. General Health is the first place you should look if you have little or no knowledge of the subject.
Step 3
Most information you find on the Internet can be printed, saved to a disk, or sent to an email. Options can be found under the File button located on the top left of your computer screen. When printing, it is always a good idea to select the Print Preview function. This will show exactly how the information will print out and how many pages it will be.
Step 4
Never hesitate to ask a Reference Librarian for assistance or call us at 853-2477. For other library locations and numbers you can go to the Library Homepage.
