The mission of the GIS Team is to provide geographically related information to citizens and staff in an accurate and easy-to-use manner.
What is GIS?
- It is a System of computer software, hardware and data, and personnel to help manipulate, analyze and present information that is tied to a geographic location.

What services does the GIS team provide?
- GIS application development services including: contracts, requirements, design, procurement, programming, installation, testing and implementation.
- Strategic planning for Enterprise GIS consistent with priorities of the Information Technology Council.
- Training in GIS software and applications.
- Procurement of equipment and software for GIS users.
- Technical support for GIS applications and software.
- Testing and evaluation of the latest in GIS technology.
