Library Comprehensive Study Final Report

The city of Roanoke began a comprehensive study of its public library system with a public meeting on May 25, 2004 at 6 p.m. in the Jefferson Center’s Fitzpatrick Hall. The public meeting, facilitated by study consultants Hidell Katz McConnell, outlined trends, services and programs implemented by contemporary library systems across the country. The purpose of the presentation was to present the community with a picture of what the future library system could look like—an anchor for downtown revitalization and cultural institution. A final report has now been created and the contents of that report can be viewed by clicking on the link above which will take you to our Comprehensive Study page.
