News Release Roanoke Police Department Conducts Radar Enforcement Police City of Roanoke November 16, 2007 The Roanoke Police Department is responding to citizens’ concerns regarding speeding. Beginning the week of November 18, 2007 officers will conduct radar enforcement in the following areas: 5th Street Richard Avenue - 2400 block Avenham Avenue - 2900 block Morehead Avenue - 1400 block In addition, the Police Department will conduct radar enforcement in the following areas beginning the week of November 25, 2007: Loudon Avenue Thurston Avenue - 400 block Westover Avenue - 2500 block Wise Avenue - 1500 block These locations were chosen as a result of citizens contacting the Police Department regarding their concerns about speeding in their neighborhoods.
