News Release Roanoke Police Department Conducts Radar Enforcement Police City of Roanoke July 6, 2009 The Roanoke Police Department is responding to concerns from citizens regarding speeding. Beginning the week of July 5, 2009, officers will conduct radar enforcement in the following areas: Hollins Road - 4500 block Fairhope Road Carlisle Avenue - 1500 block Colonial Avenue - 3200 block These locations were chosen as a result of citizens contacting the Police Department regarding their concerns about speeding in their neighborhoods.
