Plans and supervises the operation of the Fleet Services Division which includes the customer service, automotive repair services, equipment maintenance and fleet administration. Responsibilities entail accountability based on measurable cost effective results for the substance, efficiency, management control systems to ensure policies and procedures are adhered to by the staff, productivity and quality of activities performed by the division. Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university with a major in business, public administration or related field; five to ten years experience in fleet management and considerable managerial experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be a City resident or secure residence within the City limits within 12 months of employment.
