Precincts and Polling Places

The city of Roanoke is divided into 33 precincts, with a designated polling place in each precinct. The boundaries of the precincts and the locations of the polling places are laid out in Chapter 10, Article II, of the Code of the City of Roanoke.

Absentee

A central absentee voter election district is established in the courthouse of the city, on the first floor thereof, in which shall be received, counted and recorded all ballots cast within the city in elections held therein, pursuant to the provisions contained in section 24.1-233.1 of the Code of Virginia.
