Audit Reports Issued by the Municipal Auditor

The need to maintain public accountability for government programs demands that audit reports be written. The Municipal Auditor issues written reports to the Roanoke City Audit Committee for all audits performed. These reports communicate the results of audits to officials at all levels of government, make the results less susceptible to misunderstanding, make the results available for public inspection, and facilitate follow-up to determine whether appropriate corrective actions have been taken.
