Eureka Center was opened on June 23, 1965 and is located at 1529 Carroll Avenue. The center sits in the midst of the beautiful 17-acre Eureka Park that provides a pavilion, basketball and tennis courts, softball field and a playground.

This facility consists of a standard gymnasium with bleachers and a scoreboard with a message center. You’ll find a meeting area for approximately 75 people along with a game room which consists of billiards and ping pong tables and two foosball games. Next to the game room is a spacious kitchen with a stove, refrigerator with freezer, microwave, counter top and cabinets for storage. Technology skills can be obtained in our computer lab with seven workstations each with internet service. The lab is an ideal place to meet your educational needs while doing homework assignments, job searchs, or completing an online application for employment. There's also an entertainment center equiped with a DVD player and several different gaming systems.

Eureka Center is a place for the entire family. You can find programs for youth ages 6-17, whether it is our extremely popular After-School and Summer P.L.A.Y. programs or mentorship outreach for adolescent and teens. Adult programs for both men and women include individual and team sports such as basketball or volleyball. The center is ideal for community gatherings, club meetings, dances, family reunions, basketball tournaments, exercises classes, morning walks or many other types of activities.

All facilities may be rented by contacting Recreation Specialist Millard Bolden at 540-853-2675 or our administrative office at 540-853-2236.
