The Certificate Program in Eligibility Practice is the collaboration between the City of Roanoke Department of Social Services and Radford University School of Social Work. Its purpose is to prepare those who are interested in the field of Eligibility and to bring professionalism to the practice.
The Program will resume at Virginia Western Community College (VWCC). Four courses/semesters are required to earn this Certificate. Each course carries 3 credits and VWCC tuition rates apply. Each course consists of two classes. The first two classes are # 72820 and #72821. You will find them listed under Human Services. The two classes run simultaneously during the Spring semester from January 15, 2009 through May 14, 2009. The hours are 6:00-9:00 on Thursday evenings.
