General Parking Information
When driving in the City of Roanoke for business or pleasure, take a moment to plan ahead so you know where to park when you get there. Do you want to locate an on-street parking place or do you want the convenience of using a lot or garage near your destination? There are approximately 670 on-street parking spaces in Downtown Roanoke alone as well as numerous off-street privately and publically owned lots. Every visit to Roanoke should be enjoyable, so please plan ahead for parking.
Parking Tickets
Parking tickets are written by the City of Roanoke Police, Virginia Western Community College Police, Roanoke Regional Airport Police, and the City of Roanoke Fire EMS Department. Parking tickets issued by these agencies are payable to the City Treasurer's Office. Payment and administration of associated fines and penalties are handled by the Department of Billings and Collections.
