Renovate Roanoke

Volunteers can work in shifts.
Volunteers are needed to assist in the second annual Renovate Roanoke old home renovation fair. Volunteers will assist with the information/registration table, assist the public/presenters/staff by monitoring presentations, and by providing directions and information at the Jefferson Center. Volunteers will also be needed to help with event clean up.

Volunteers assist in handing out programs before hand and then stay for the show.
Clean and Green Campaign Community Recycling Initiative
Ongoing until all routes have been completed.
This is a group project.
Volunteers will be canvasing city neighborhoods on the corresponding trash collections days to place stickers on the Big Blue Trash Containers for citizens who do not have a recycling container set out for pick up.
The purpose of the project is to promote awareness of the City's curbside recycling program for City residents.
Kids In Krisis Committee
Ongoing- flexible commitment
Volunteers are needed to help raise funds for children in the community that could include foster children. The funds will be used by Social Services to provide such items as school supplies and coats. Volunteers are being asked to help with fund-raisers or serve on a committee to brainstorm other activities and ways to raise funds and supplies.
