Trips and Tours

Activities most often requested by the adult and senior population are trips (local and one day) and tours (charter bus out of town for overnight stays). Participation as a group gives the patrons more of a sense of safety rather than having to plan the trip on their own as well as having to transport themselves. Participants also meet new people, have new experiences, and have fun at the same time! Trips range from a couple hours on a day trip to a regional attraction all the way to multi-day excursions to destinations across the United States. Roanoke Parks and Recreation offers many different trips and tours throughout the year. It all depends on what youare interested in!
