Special Instructions Regarding Real Estate Tax Payments Through Mortgage Company Escrow Accounts
If you will no longer have an escrow account through a mortgage company, please contact the Treasurer's Office with your correct mailing address to receive your Real Estate Tax bill. This will ensure that you receive your bill in time to avoid the 10% late payment penalty.
If you refinanced your mortgage and you receive a tax bill that should be paid by an escrow account, put your new loan number on the bill and mail it to your mortgage company. The Treasurer's Office wil make this type of correction to your account when we receive the payment from the mortgage company.
