Leadership College
A UNIQUE NINE-WEEK COMMUNITY LEADERSHIP PROGRAM
The Leadership College is an introduction to a variety of resources and information available to you as you work within your community and with city staff to improve the quality of life in your neighborhood while promoting a stronger sense of community.
The Leadership College is an interactive, practical, and engaging series of discussions, lectures, role plays, team building, and related field work that will help you:
- Learn best practices in organizing your community
- Learn how to access city services
- Understand city procedures
- Gain basic conflict resolution skills
One of the many overwhelming responses that have been received from past Leadership College graduates include the following: "I want to thank all of the presenters; they were very informative, honest, and open in their presentations and follow-up discussions. This course opened my eyes to the need to be involved to improve the quality of life in the city now and for future generations."
It’s free to our citizens, but space is limited.
Classes are held for nine (9) consecutive weeks on each Tuesday evening and capped with a graduation program. A light dinner is also served.
Register Now! for the 2009 fall session scheduled to begin on Tuesday evening, September 22 through November 17, 2009 from 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
