Planning Commission

The Planning Commission advises and assists City Council in promoting the orderly development of the City. The Commission develops the plans and ordinances to guide future growth and serves as a sounding board for City Council in matters related to development issues. The Commission reviews and make recommendations to City Council on proposed amendments to the City's land development regulations (rezonings, zoning text amendments), street and alley closure requests and short- and long-range plans.
